Fortville’s Hometown Heroes Campaign

If you’ve driven along Main and Broadway Streets in Fortville recently, you may have noticed the new banners proudly honoring our Hometown Heroes. These banners celebrate past and present members of the Armed Forces, First Responders, and their families.

The Hometown Heroes campaign was launched by Cindy Carmack, with support from Jim Anderson, Larry Cannaday, and Garen Waters. With approval from the Town Council, the project was made possible through the generosity of families and sponsors, who provided the information and purchased banners to honor their loved ones.

Each banner is crafted from high-quality, durable vinyl and mounted using black powder-coated brackets for decorative lamp posts. Fiberglass arms with reinforced sleeves ensure easy installation and long-lasting display.
